TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE HAND THROTTLE CONTROL — Continued 0192 00 REMOVAL NOTE Hand throttle control is removed and installed the same way for M548A1 and M548A3. M548A1 hand throttle control is shown. 1. Remove three screws (1), lock washers (2), and clamps (3) from hull nuts (4). Remove clamps (3) from hand throttle control cable (5). Discard lock washers. 2. Loosen setscrew (6) from retainer collar (7). Remove hand throttle control cable (5) from link pin (8) and retainer collar (7). 3. Remove cotter pin (9), washer (10), and link pin (8) from accelerator pedal (11). Discard cotter pin. 4. Remove two lock nuts (12), screws (13), and clamp (14) from throttle control adapter (15). Discard lock nuts. 5. Loosen nut (16) securing hand throttle control cable (5) to instrument panel. 6. Pull hand throttle control cable (5) through throttle control adapter (15), bulkhead, adapter washer (17), adapter nut (18), two grommets (19), nut (16), and washer (20). 7. Remove adapter nut (18) and adapter washer (17) from throttle control adapter (15). Remove throttle control adapter from bulkhead. 0192 00-2
