TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE AIR BOX HEATER ELECTRODE (M548A3) — Continued 0188 00 13. Thread replacement electrode (1) into air box heater assembly (2). Torque 180 lb-in. (20 N•m). Check ignition cable and boot end for signs of wear, cracked insulation, or corrosion. Replace if necessary. Push ignition cable boot end onto electrode until positive engagement is felt. INSTALLATION 1. Install new preformed packing (3) on air box heater (4). 2. Install new gasket (5) and air box heater (4) on engine with two new washers (6) and screws (7). NOTE Screw (10) is longer than screws (7). 3. Install ground lead of wiring harness (8) to air box heater with new copper washer (9) and screw (10). Tighten two screws (7) and screw (10). 4. Install air hose (11) on fitting (12). 0188 00-4
