INITIAL SETUP: M a i n t e n a n c e L e v e l Unit T o o l s a n d S p e c i a l T o o l s General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0541 00, Item 57) M a t e r i a l s / P a r t s Lock washer (4) P e r s o n n e l R e q u i r e d Unit Mechanic R e f e r e n c e s See your -10 E q u i p m e n t C o n d i t i o n Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your 10) Both battery negative leads disconnected (WP 0292 00) Center seat raised (see your -10) Power plant rear access panel removed (see your -10) REMOVAL 1. Disconnect fuel hose (1) from elbow (2). 2. Remove fuel tube (3) from elbow (4) and elbow (5). 3. Disconnect wiring harness (6) at solenoid valve (7). 4. Remove two screws (8), lock washers (9), and bracket (10) from fan idler support (11). Discard lock washers. 5. Remove two screws (12), lock washers (13), and solenoid valve (7) from bracket (10). Discard lock washers. 6. If replacement solenoid valve is to be installed, remove elbow (4), elbow (2), and adapter (14) from defective valve. 0187 00-1
