TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE SECONDARY FUEL FILTER (M548A1) — Continued 0177 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Before installing threaded hardware, clean male threads with cleaning compound. Put sealing compound on threads. Do not put sealing compound beyond small end of tapered threads. If installing a new filter, you must fill filter shell with diesel fuel (WP 0179 00) to prevent air lock in fuel system. 1. Install filter (1) and cover (2) with two screws (3), washers (4), and new lock nuts (5). Close drain valve (6). 2. Connect circuit 1A and 1B plug (7) at connector on generator field switch (8). 3. Connect hose (9) and hose (10) to elbow (11) and elbow (12) on cover (2). 4. Tighten filter plug (13). 0177 00-3
