TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE FUEL COMPARTMENT EXPANSION TANK VENT TUBES, HOSES, AND FITTINGS — Continued 0174 00 INSTALLATION NOTE Put sealing compound on male threads. Do not put sealing compound beyond small end of tapered threads. 1. Install hose (1), adapter (2), nut (3), retaining ring (4), and new preformed packing (5) on fuel compartment. 2. Install end of hose (1) on bottom of expansion tank tee (6). Tighten two clamps (7). 3. Install adapter (8) on hose (9). Attach hose (9) to tube (10) with two clamps (11). Tighten clamps. 4. Attach tube (12) to hose (13) and hose (14). Install hose (13) on tube (10). Tighten two clamps (15). 5. Install clamp (16) to hull with screw (17) and new lock washer (18). 6. Install connector (19) on hose (14). Push connector through hull. Install nut (20) on connector. 7. Connect hose (21) to connector (19) and expansion tank tee (6). 8. Tighten four clamps (22) on hose (21) and hose (14). 0174 00-3
