TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPLACE FUEL LEVEL TRANSMITTER — Continued 0169 00 REMOVAL 1. Disconnect circuit 28 (1) from transmitter (2). 2. If transmitter (2) has rear support, remove nut (3), washer (4), and clamp (5) from screw (6). NOTE You do not need to remove screw (6), nut (7), two washers (8), two washers (9), or grommet (10) to replace transmitter (2). 3. Remove lock wire (11), five screws (12), and transmitter (2) from fuel tank. Discard lock wire. 4. Remove transmitter (2) and gasket (13) from outside of fuel compartment. Remove gasket (14) and bracket (15) from inside of fuel compartment. Discard gaskets. CLEANING 1. Make sure fuel is not leaking into float. 2. Make certain float arm is not bent. 3. Check transmitter fuel level gauge circuit (WP 0050 00). 0169 00-2
