TM 9-2350-247-20-2 REPAIR/REPLACE TOWING PINTLE — Continued 0377 00 DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove cotter pin (1), nut (2), and bolt (3) that secure pintle lock (4) to pintle hook (5). Remove lock from hook. Discard cotter pin. 2. Remove lock pin (6) from pintle lock (4). 3. Remove pintle latch (7) and latch spring (8) from pintle lock (4). 4. Remove grease fitting (9) from bolt (3). Remove grease fitting (10) from lock pin (6). ASSEMBLY 1. Install latch spring (8) and pintle latch (7) in pintle lock (4). Secure with lock pin (6). 2. Secure lock pin (6) in pintle lock (4) by staking both ends at three equally spaced points. 3. Install grease fitting (10) in lock pin (6). Install grease fitting (9) in bolt (3). 4. Install pintle lock (4) in pintle hook (5). Secure with bolt (3), nut (2), and new cotter pin (1). 5. Lube pintle (see your PMCS). 0377 00-2
