Are ports of air brake governor (1) free of leaks and fittings tight? YES NO 3YN 1. Tighten or replace fittings (WP 0495 00) or replace faulty air brake governor (WP 0490 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 4Y 1. Remove adjusting screw cover from air brake governor (1) and check adjusting screw (2) for tightness. 2. Is lock nut (3) tight? YES NO 4YN 1. Replace faulty air brake governor (WP 0490 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 5Y 1. Listen for escaping air or signs of faulty operation. 2. Is air brake governor free of air leaks or signs of faulty operation? YES NO 5YN 1. Replace faulty air brake governor (WP 0490 00). 2. Verify no faults found. 0098 00-2
