TM 9-2350-247-10 MAINTENANCE OF AIR CLEANER ELEMENT (M548A1) — Continued 0063 00 INSTALLATION C A U T I O N Two non-interchangeable air cleaner types are used on M548A1 carriers. Make sure you install the right element and container. An air cleaner container with stops inside requires a closed end element. 1. To install an open end element, just slide it back into the container. It doesn’t matter which end goes in first. 2. To install a closed end element, put it in the container with the closed end down and turn the element until the slot on the bottom is between the stops in the container. 3.
