TB 9-2350-277-40&P-4 MODIFICATION PROCEDURES – Continued 0004 00 0004 00-6 DRILL INTERCOM UNIT MOUNTING (M1068A3 ONLY) NOTE To protect hull integrity, do not break thru hull when drilling. Marking the drill for a maximum depth of 1 inch will prevent any break thru. 1. Locate and mark two holes (10), measuring from right inside hull edge (12) and from rear edge (11) of horizontal sponson plate above engine bulkhead. 2. Drill two holes (10) using a 17/64 inch drill bit to a maximum depth of 1 inch. DO NOT BREAK THRU. 3. Tap two holes (10) using a 5/16 x 24 tap. Tap holes to a minimum depth of 3/4 inch. Figure 5.
