If metal chips are found in oil, notify direct support maintenance. Drain at least 15 minutes. Fill transfer gearcase with approximately 2-1/2 quarts oil (OE/HDO). Make sure gearcase filler cap is closed. Start engine and operate for 1 minute. Stop engine and check oil level. Level should be between FULL and ADD markson gage rod.
