TM 9-2920-258-30&P 1-7 LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR COMPONENTS 1 DRIVE END HOUSING - Holds the Drive Blocks, Bearing, Spline Shaft and Cam Assembly in place. Also used to mount Alternator to vehicle. 2 AIR SHROUD - Houses the Stator Assembly. 3 ROTOR ASSEMBLY - Rotates to generate electrical power. 4 END HOUSING - Retains the Rigging Brush Assembly. 5 AXIAL IMPELLER FAN - The cooling system. 6 CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY - Connects with the vehicle electrical system. 7 SPLINE SHAFT AND CAM ASSEMBLY - Interfaces with vehicle accessory drive shaft. 8 IDENTIFICATION PLATE - Shows all required data information.
