(4) (5) (6) (7) (8) (9) (10) (11) (12) Pull damper assembly (5) and outer cone (6) until cone is loose on crankshaft. Remove universal puller (3) from damper hub (4). Remove bolt (1) from crankshaft. Slide outer cone (6), damper assembly (5), and inner cone (7) from end of crankshaft by hand. Remove six bolts (8) and six Iockwashers (9); then, separate damper (10) from hub (4). Discard Iockwashers. Remove four bolts (11), two bolts (12), six Iockwashers (13), two bolts (14), and two Iockwashers (15) from lower front cover (16). Discard Iockwashers, Strike edges of cover (16) alternately on each side with a soft-head hammer to free it from dowels. Pull cover straight off end of crankshaft. Remove dirt deflector (17) from end of crankshaft. Remove gasket (18) from cylinder TM9-2815-202-34 block. Discard gasket. ---- 5-29
