TM 9-2815-202-34 NOTE Insure locating pads on exhaust manifold rest on cylinder block locating pads. (3) Install exhaust manifold (2) to cylinder head by sliding downward between gaskets and retainers. (4) Torque five nuts (1) to 30-35 Ib-ft (41 -47 N-m) starting from center outward and alternating toward either end. (5) Repeat steps 1-4 above for opposite side exhaust manifold.
