SCOPE This appendix lists expendable supplies and materials you will need to make BDAR fixes on the M109A6 Howitzer. Items are listed alphabetically by the item name shown in the Description column. These items are authorized by CTA 50-970, Expendable/Durable Items (Except Medical, Class V, Repair Parts, and Heraldic Items, or CTA 8-100, Army Medical Department Expendable/Durable Items) C-2. EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS IN SECTION II a. Column (1) - Item Number This number is assigned to the entry in the listing and is referenced in the narrative instructions to identify the material (e g, "Use hose clamp, item 5, Appendix C"). b. Column (2) - National Stock Number (NSN) This is the NSN assigned to the item, use it to request or requisition the item. c. Column (3) - Description. Indicates the federal item name, and if required, a description to identify the item. The last line for each item indicates the Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code in parentheses, followed by the part number. d. Column (4) - Unit of Issue (U/I) The abbreviation "U/I" identifies the unit(s) under which material is issued: SECTION II.
