TM 9-2350-358-BD 5-8. FUEL TANK, LEAKING - CONTINUED Procedural Steps: Secure a substitute fuel container to the outside of the howitzer. 2. Disconnect hose from primary fuel filter. 3. Connect a hose between fuel container and primary fuel filter in step 3. 4. Install plug in hose disconnected, or disconnect electrical in-tank fuel pumps. 5. Record the BDAR action taken. When the mission is complete, as soon as practical, repair the equipment/system using standard maintenance procedures. Option 2: Fiberglass fuel tanks. Limitations: None, if fiberglass repair kit is used Personnel/Time Required: • 2 soldiers • Time determined by location and amount of damage.
