Disassembly 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 7-20 Remove and discard lockwire (1). Remove three cap screws (2), self-locking nut (3), sleeve spacer (4), and pillow block cap (5). Discard self- Iocking nut. Remove self-alining bearing (6), bearing collar (7), and bearing cap (8). Remove and discard piston wiper (9), packing retainer (1O), and preformed packing (11). Remove Iockwire (12), machine plug (13), and preformed packing (14). Discard lockwire and preformed packing. Remove outer end housing (15). Remove and discard preformed packing (16) and flat washer (17). Remove setscrew (18). Separate guide (19) and cylinder externally threaded ring (20). Remove guide (19) from rammer piston tube (21). Remove and discard preformed packing (22) and retaining ring (23). Remove and discard guide wiper (24), packing retainer (25), and preformed packing (26). Remove rammer piston tube (21) and rammer actuating piston (27) from outer rammer piston tube (28) and separate. Remove and discard retaining ring (29). Remove and discard two packing retainers (30) and preformed packing (31).
