Assembly Tools Artillery and turret mechanic’s tool kit (SC 5180-95-CL-A12) Materials/Parts Lockwashers (4) (item 79, Appx E) Self-locking insert (item 120, Appx E) Self-locking nut (item 44, Appx E) a. Disassembly 1 Remove cap screw (1) securing hand pump crank (2) to axial pump (3). 2 Remove round nut (4) and shaft collar (5). 3 Remove five washer assembled screws (6) and access cover (7). 4 Remove two plugs (8) from arm pump handle (9). 5 Remove four machine screws (10), four lockwashers (11), and knob cap (12). Discard lockwashers. 6 Remove self-locking insert (13) from knob cap (12) and discard. 7 Remove retaining ring (14) ring spacer (15), and knob (16) from arm pump handle (9). 8 Remove two plugs (17) from knob (16). 9 Remove self-locking nut (18) and machine screw (19) from arm pump handle (9). Discard self-locking nut. Change 2 6-83
