Assembly INITIAL SETUP Tools Lockwashers (4) (item 80, Appx E) Artillery and turret mechanic’s tool kit Seal replacement parts kit (item 168, Appx E) (SC 5180-95-CL-A12) Equipment Condition Materials/Parts Selector valve assembly and solenoid removed Hydraulic fluid (item 22, Appx B) (TM 9-2350-311-20-2) a. Disassembly 1 Remove four cap screws (1), four lockwashers (2), and body assembly plate (3) from body assembly (4). Discard lockwashers. 2 Remove helical compression spring (5). 3 Remove selector valve spool (6). NOTE Some selector valve assemblies may not have packing retainers. 4 Remove and discard two preformed packings (7) and two packing retainers (8). 6-71
