Assembly INITIAL SETUP Tools Personnel Required Artillery and turret mechanic’ s tool kit 2 (SC 5180-95-CL-A12) Artillery field maintenance tool kit (SC 4933-95-CL-A06) Equipment Condition Breechblock assembly removed (TM 9-2350-311-10) Materials/Parts Spring pin (item 6, Appx E) a. Disassembly Breechblock weighs approximately 125 pounds (57 kg). Two personnel are required to remove breechblock to prevent injury. Wear steel-tipped safety shoes to avoid possible injury. 1 Place breechblock (1) on solid surface. 2 Remove and discard spring pin (2). 3 Remove headed straight pin (3) and roller (4) from breechblock (1). 5-39
