Rammer not illustrated for clarifi- cation only. Lockwire is used to secure interlocking stop to M284 cannon. Three Iockwashers are used on M185 cannon. 7 Remove interlocking stop (10) by removing three cap screws (11) with Iockwire (12) or three Iockwashers (13). Discard Iockwashers or Iockwire. 8 Bend tabs of two key washers (14) to disengage from slots of two round nuts (15). 9 Remove two round nuts (15), two key washers (14), and two keyway washers (16) from variable recoil cylin- der rods (17). Discard key washer. 10 Install fabricated eyebolt lifting bracket (18) using three cap screws (11) from interlocking stop (10). 5-14
