TM 9–2350–311–20–2 14–33/(14–34 blank) 14–11 CAB ACCESS COVER This task covers: a. Removal b. Installation INITIAL SETUP Tools Artillery and turret mechanic’s tool kit (SC 5180–95–CL–A12) Materials/Parts Gasket (item 119, Appx G) Sealing compound, No. 2 (item 27, Appx D) a. Removal 1 Remove cap screw (1), flat washer (2), and towing cable strap (3) from cab roof. 2 Move tow cable (4) away from access cover (5). 3 Remove four cap screws (6) and four flat washers (7) from access cover (5). Remove access cover and gasket (8). 4 Discard gasket (8) and clean gasket seat to remove dirt and adhesive. b. Installation 1 Apply sealing compound to new gasket (8) and install on access cover (5). 2 Aline holes on access cover (5) with holes on cab roof. Install four flat washers (7) and four cap screws (6) on access cover. 3 Secure tow cable (4) to cab roof with towing cable strap (3), flat washer (2), and cap screw (1). 6 7 5 8 1 2 3 4
