Installation INITIAL SETUP Tools Artillery and turret mechanic’s tool kit (SC 5180–95–CL–A12) Materials/Parts Cotter pin (item 38, Appx G) Lockwashers (2) (item 81, Appx G) Shims (V) (item 147, Appx G) Shims (V) (item 148, Appx G) Shims (V) (item 149, Appx G) Shims (V) (item 150, Appx G) NOTE This procedure is written for the left door bumper assembly, but also applies to the right door bumper assembly. a. Removal Remove two cap screws (1), two lockwashers (2), bumper assembly (3), and shim(s) (4) from cab. Discard lockwashers and shims. b. Disassembly Remove cotter pin (5), headed straight pin (6), and bumper (7) from bumper assembly (3). Discard cotter pin. c. Assembly Install bumper (7), headed straight pin (6), and new cotter pin (5). d. Installation Install new shim(s) (4), as required, and bumper assembly (3) on cab using two cap screws (1) and two new lockwashers (2). 4 3 2 1 7 5 6 3
