Installation INITIAL SETUP Tools Artillery and turret mechanic’s tool kit (SC 5180–95–CL–A12) Utility pail (item 7, Appx H) Materials/Parts Cap and plug set (item 7, Appx D) Lockwashers (2) (item 107, Appx G) Lockwashers (4) (item 182, Appx G) Equipment Condition Discharge hydraulic pressure (para 6–3) a. Removal 1 Disconnect electrical connector (1) at top of solenoid (2). 2 Remove solenoid (2) by removing four cap screws (3) and four lockwashers (4). Discard lockwashers. NOTE • Dispose of hydraulic fluid in accordance with local regulations. • Drain hydraulic lines into utility pail at point of disconnect. 3 Disconnect six hydraulic tube connectors (5). 4 Remove two cap screws (6) and two lockwashers (7) to remove from body assembly (8) from plate (not shown). Discard lockwashers.
