d. Assembly 1 Install two bumpers (1 6), two bumper retainers (15), four screws (14), and two new Iockwires (13) onto center plate (12). 2 Assemble two journal assemblies (11) to center plate (1 2). 3 Install eight screws (10) and four new Iockwires (9). 4 Install flange assembly (3), with flange plug installed, onto final drive splined shaft. 5 Install adapter (5) onto transmission splined shaft. 6 Install adapter Iockplate (8) and bolt (7) onto transmission splined shaft. 7 Connect joint assembly (6) to adapter (5) and flange (3).
