Equipment Conditions GAA grease (item 26, Appx D) Transmission access doors opened (para 11-7) a. Removal 1 Remove Iockwires (1). Discard Iockwires. NOTE if flange and adapter screws are inaccessible, place transmission shift lever in neutral (N) position and push or tow vehicle until universal joint rotates sufficiently to allow access to screws. 2 Remove four screws (2) at flange assembly (3) and four screws (4) at adapter (5). 10-57
