9-5 OIL FILTER — CONTINUED c. Assembly 1 Install new preformed packing (7) and new filter element (6) on rod assembly (8). 2 Install new self-locking nut (5). d. Installation 1 Position oil filter (3) into transmission. 2 If used, remove two screws (1) from puller holes (4). 3 Install three new Iockwashers (2) and three screws (1).
