General mechanic’s tool kit (item 64, Appx H) Exhaust deflector removed (para 4-5) Exhaust grille removed (para 4-5) Materials/Parts Fuel tank drained for removal of lower fuel tank Gaskets (2) (item 128, Appx G) transmitter only (TM 9-2350-311-1 O) LockWashers (3) (item 95, Appx G) a. Removal Do not smoke or use open flame when working on fuel system. An explosion may occur, causing severe injury or death. 1 Remove three screws (1), three Iockwashers (2), and cover (3). Discard Iockwashers. 2 Disconnect electrical connector (4). 3 Remove five screws (5), five washers (6), and ground lead (7). 4 Remove transmitter (8) and gasket (9). Discard gasket. 6-6 WARNING
