Connect air cleaner duct (76). Install clamp (75) and tighten nut (74). NOTE Position of primary fuel filter differs in M109A2 and M109A3 Howitzers (para 1-15). Connect primary fuel filter input hose (72) quick disconnect (73). Install engine compartment access cover (68), 12 screws (69), and 12 new Iockwashers (70). Connect hose (67) and tighten two clamps (66). Turn engine mount release shaft (71 ) clockwise to tighten. Torque shaft to 175-190 Ib-ft (237–258 NŽm). 4-54
