TM 9-2350-311-20-1 ag. SLAVE START RECEPTACLE CIRCUIT (M109A2/ M109A3) The slave start receptacle is located in the battery compartment. When a slave start cable is connected between the slave start receptacles of two vehicles, one vehicle can power the other vehicle’s electrical system. With the MASTER switch set to ON in the first vehicle and the MASTER switch set to SLAVE in the second vehicle, 24 Vdc is supplied to the second vehicle’s master relay. This energizes the master relay circuit which supplies voltage throughout the vehicle’s electrical system. .-— 3-351
