TM 9-2350-311-20-1 B 1. Reconnect bulkhead-to-driver's instrument panel wiring harness to dimmer switch. 2. Remove inoperative headlight assembly (para 8-21 ). 3. If low beam is inoperative, place red lead of multimeters in socket A (lead 18) and black lead to ground. 4. Turn MASTER switch ON, place dimmer switch in the low beam position, and check for voltage. 5. If high beam is inoperative, place red lead of multimeters in socket B (lead 17) and black lead to ground. 6. Turn MASTER switch ON, place dimmer switch in the high beam position and check for voltage. 7. Turn MASTER switch OFF. Is voltage present? Repair or replace lead 17 and/or 18 of headlight wiring harness (para 8-48). Replace sealed beam units (para END OF TASK 3-251 8-22).
