ENGINE—CONTINUED (1) ENGINE CRANKS BUT FAILS TO START – CONTINUED CONTINUED FROM STEP F Check for pinched, kinked, clogged, or leaking fuel tubes or hoses. I Are fuel lines free of pinches, kinks, clogs, and leaks? Replace all pinched or kinked fuel lines. Open all clogged lines or replace them if they cannot be opened. Tighten all leaking lines. If leaks continue, replace lines (para 6-9 and 6-10). I Is main fuel line properly connected? Connect main fuel line properly (para 6-10). 1. Disconnect connector from fuel pump relay. 2. Place a jumper wire from socket B to socket C. 3. Turn MASTER switch ON and start engine. I Does engine start? Replace generator and fuel pump relay (para 8-35). CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE 3-60
