TM 9-2350-311-20-1 If battery fails in freezing weather, crank engine for 5 seconds and retest. This will warm battery slightly. Check battery connections and repeat step 6, Figure If display shows GO, check cables and connections to starter and repeat step 6, Figure 3, sheet 18. If display shows .9.9.9 .9, clean and tighten connections on battery and repeat step 6, Figure 3, sheet 18. if battery has been charged, replace battery.
