Installation INITIAL SETUP General mechanic’s tool kit (item 64, Appx H) Cotter pin (item 35, Appx G) Adjustable wrench (item 66, Appx H) Lockwashers (4) (item 99, Appx G) a. Removal 1 Remove four screws (1), four Iockwashers (2), and bracket (3). Discard Iockwashers. 2 Remove cotter pin (4), castle nut (5), flat washer (6), and pintle (7). Discard cotter pin. b. Installation 1 Install pintle (7), flat washer (6), castle nut (5), and new cotter pin (4). 2 Install bracket (3), four new Iockwashers (2), and four screws (1). 11-61
