The M20 canister is a separate issue item. • The M687 is assembled at the chemical ammunition supply point (CASP) in accordance with TM 3-1320-242-10 and will have a visible broken green band. If a rubber sleeve covers the broken green band, assembly of the M20 canister has not been accomplished and the projectile should not be fired.
