Disassembly — Continued NOTE Step 21 is for the M35 firing mechanism on the M109A2/M109A3/M109A4 M185 cannon assembly. 21 Disassemble M35 firing mechanism. (a) Place firing mechanism (2) on solid surface. (b) Depress follower (40) until grooved pin (41) can be removed from manual control lever (42) and rod end clevis (43). (c) Separate follower (40) and case (44) from sear group (45). (d) Remove two springs (46 and 47).
