Before firing, check hoses, tubes, and connec- tors (1) for oil leaks. b. Check rammer assembly (2) for missing, loose, or broken components. l When exercising rammer assembly, bring rammer to full extension slowly to avoid seal damage. l If the rammer assembly does not operate smoothly, or makes unusual noises, or jerking motions, notify unit maintenance and refer to para 2-12.5 for cannon hand ramming. Failure to observe this caution could result in short rounds and short rounds fall on friendly forces. Not Fully Mission Capable If:
