Place torsion helical PLATE BASE—MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS. (cont) (10) in torsion helical spring (11) in position in cover (12) hinge hole as shown. Position the cover group on the base plate (8) and aline the holes for the setscrew (9). Push setscrew (9) in until only the threads show. Apply sealing compound (item 8, appx D) to setscrew threads. Screw in setscrew (9) and tighten securely. Apply synthetic rubber adhesive (item 1, appx D) to new gasket (13) and its base plate mating surface.
