ELEVATlON BRACKET (1) DOES NOT SLIDE Rotate elevation knob (2) from stop to stop. Adjust three self-locking nuts M146 TELESCOPE MOUNT 2. YOKE 3) CANNOT BE ROTATED THROUGH E 180 D GREES WITHOUT BINDING. Move yoke from side to side. a. Remove burrs from mating surfaces. b. Replace headed grooved pin and related parts located inside yoke pin (4) (ref. para 2-11). 3. TAPERED PIN (KING PIN) (5) BINDS. Remove tapered pin (king pin) (5) and inspect for smooth rotation of knob. a. Remove burrs from tapered pin. b. Replace worn or damaged parts as required (ref. para 2-11). 4. ELEVATION KNOB 2 IS ERRATIC AND ROUGH Rotate elevation knob from stop to stop. a. b. Adjust elevation shoulder screw (6) (ref. para 2-15). Replace damaged elevation shoulder screw parts (ref. para 2-11). 2-5
