TM9-1240-401-34&P 1 2 3 4 Place torque adapter 8213473 (1) on knob assembly (2) and tighten securely. Place torque wrench (3) of not more than 30 pound- inches (3.39-N-m) maximum capacity on torque adapter (1). With torque wrench (3) rotate knob assembly (2) one turn clockwise and one turn counterclockwise. Measure the torque required to turn knob assembly (2). The torque shall be between 3 and 5 pound- inches (0.339 and 0.565 N-m). If not, repair according to repair procedure (ref. para 5.1-15). 5.1-75/(5.1-76 blank) Change 1
