TM 9-1240-401-34&P 12 Remove boot (24) from toggle switch (25). 13 14 15 16 17 18 NOTE Perform the following steps only as necessary for replacement of damaged or defective parts. Remove hexagon plain nut (26) from toggle switch (25). NOTE Rotate elevation handwheel to move sector gear away from toggle switch. Using tape (item 20, appx B), tag and unsolder four wires (27) from toggle switch (25). Remove toggle switch (25) from housing. Unsolder wire (28) from contact of connector (29). Remove four screws (30), four lockwashers (31), connector (29), and gasket (32) from housing. Discard lockwashers and gasket. Unsolder wire (27) from contact (33). Unscrew contact (33) and screw thread insert (34) from mount. b. Repair 1 Remove corrosion, grease, and dirt from all parts. Refer to TM 9-254 for cleaning instructions. 2 Visually inspect for missing or damaged parts. 3 Repair or replace parts in accordance with authorized parts listed in appendix D. Change 1 5.1-19
