Refer to TM 9-254 for cleaning instructions. Visually inspect for missing or damaged parts. Repair or replace parts in accordance with author- ized parts listed in appendix D. I c. Assembly I 1 Install shouldered shaft (10) in correction knob (5). 2 Install collar (9) on shouldered shaft (10) and se- cure with headless straight pin (8). 3 Install correction knob (5) and secure with head- less straight pin (4). 4 Install plug (7) and setscrew (6). 5 Apply oil to flat washer (3) and install in elevation handwheel (2). 6 Aline hole in elevation handwheel (2) with hole in shaft (11) and install tapered pin (1). 4-30
