Removal 1 Remove two machine screws (1), two flat washers (2), and two clamps (3) from housing (4). 2 Remove wiring harness (5). b. Disassembly 1 Remove four pieces of insulation sleeving (6) and unsolder four lug terminals (7) from cable assembly (8). 2 Remove three pieces of insulation sleeving (9) from cable assembly (8). 3 Using tape, tag and unsolder three wires from re- ceptacle connector (10). c. Repair 1 Remove corrosion, grease, and dirt from all parts. Refer to TM 9-254 for cleaning instructions. 2 Visually inspect for missing or damaged parts. 3 Repair or replace parts in accordance with author- ized parts listed in appendix D.
