It must turn smoothly with less than 13.00 in.-lb (1.47 N-m) torque. Backlash must not exceed 0.5 mil. With elevation knob rotated through full range the line of sight shall not deviate from plumb by more than 1.0 mil. With the mount elevated in 200 mil increments between zero and 1200 mils, elevation error must not exceed 1.0 mil. 6 Variable Resistor Knob Rotate knob.
