Removal 1 1. Remove three capscrews (4), washers (3), and splash shield access cover (5) from engine left splash shield (1). 2. Inspect spring nuts (2). Replace if damaged. b. Installation Install splash shield access cover (5) on engine left splash shield (1) with three washers (3) and capscrews (4). FOLLOW-ON TASK: Lower and secure hood (TM 9-2320-387-10). 1O-46
