Install bracket (4) on splash shield (1) with washer (51, capscrew (61, washer (31, and locknut Ensure second hole in bracket (4) aligns with hole (16) in splash shield (1). d. Installation (2). 1 I 1. Install splash shield (1) on airlift bracket (20) with washer (19) and capscrew (18). 2. Install splash shield (1) on splash shield mount (38) with washer (401, capscrew (391, washer (24), and locknut (25). Tighten capscrew (39) to 15 lb-R (20 Nom). NOTE Perform steps 3 through 5 for Ml113 models only. 3. Install splash shield (1) on lower airlift bracket (36) with washer (43), capscrew (42), washer GW, lockwasher (211, and locknut (22). Tighten capscrew (42) to 10 lb-R (14 Nom). 4. Install clamp (46) on splash shield (1) with capscrew (171, washer (451, and locknut (44). 5. Install splash shield (1) on airlift bracket (20) with lockwasher (37) and capscrew (41). 6. Install plate (31) on connector (48) with four screws (49) and nuts (50). 7. Install spring nuts (28) and (32) and plate (31) on headlight housing (26) with two hex-head screws (271, harness (291, and clamp (30). 8. Install plate (31) on support bracket (12) with four washers (351, lockwashers (34), and capscrews (33). 9. Connect hood harness connector (47) to connector (48). 10-44
