Maintenance Level Unit NOTE Replacement procedures for front and rear side marker light assemblies are basically the same. This procedure covers the left front side marker. 1 a. Removal 1 1. Remove four screws (11, washers (21, and closeoff cover (3) from hood (4). 2. Disconnect lead 489 (15) from hood wiring harness (14). 3. Remove two screws (131, lens (111, and door (12) from side marker light (9). 4. Remove four locknuts KI),washers (61, ground lead 92 (7), screws (lo), side marker light (91, and gasket (81 from hood (4). Discard locknuts (5). pi-Izzr1 1. Install gasket (81, side marker light (9), and ground lead 92 (7) on hood (4) with four screws (101, washers (61, and locknuts W, ensuring ground lead 92 (71 is under washer (6). 2. Instail lens (11) and door (12) on side marker light.(g) with two screws (131. 3. Connect lead 489 (15) to hood wiring harness (14). 4. Install closeoff cover (3) on hood (41 with four washers (2) and screws (1). 4-94
