Sealing compound (Appendix C, Item 61) nraintenance Level Unit 1Ianual References TM 9-2320-387-24P NOTE l The cold-advance switch is located in the right cylinder head water jacket at the rear of the cylinder head just above the exhaust manifold. l Prior to removal, tag leads for installation. L a. Removal 1 1. Disconnect leads 569G (1) and 569B (3) from engine harness (2). 2. Remove cold-advance switch (5) from engine (4). /YZZZZJ 1. Apply sealing compound to threads of cold-advance switch (5). 2. Install cold-advance switch (5) on engine (4). 3. Connect leads 569G (1) and 569B (3) to engine harness (2).
