Maintenance Level Unit Do not touch hot exhaust system components with bare hands. Severe injury may result. -1 1. Remove three locknuts (9), washers (61, capscrews (51, and washers (6) from tailpipe (1) and mufIler (7). Discard locknuts (9). 2. Removetwo nuts (31, lockwashers (41, and U-bolt (10) from tailpipe (1) and hanger (2). Discard lockwashers (4). 3. Removetailpipe (1) and gasket (8) from mufIler (7). Discard gasket (8). 3-90
