Removal 1 Remove cotter pin (s), washer (41, spring (2), pin (61, and accelerator pedal (6) from accelerator rod (1). Discard cotter pin (3). Install accelerator pedal (5) and spring (2) on accelerator rod (1) with pin (6), washer (41, and cotter pin (3). ‘\ FOLLOW-ON TASK: Start engine (TM 9-2320-387-10) and check for proper accelerator operation. 3-86
